Aydin McClelland

Associate

Aydin McClelland is an associate lawyer in Duncan Craig LLP’s Commercial Litigation and Banking and Commercial Lending practice groups. Aydin has experience assisting clients in a variety of litigation cases, including matters related to breach of contract, debt enforcement, and insolvency and restructuring.

In Aydin's Own Words:

“Often, litigation can be a confusing and stressful process to navigate. My job is to streamline the process by providing prompt, efficient, and high-quality services to clients. Each client requires a different approach that is tailored to their individual needs, and approaching files in this manner can reduce needless time and expense. For individuals and corporations alike, understanding the various interests at stake and delivering a work product that reflects those interests minimizes the impact litigation can have and ensures issues are resolved.”

Prior to his legal career, Aydin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Law and Legal Studies from Carleton University. During law school, Aydin was involved in numerous community initiatives, including the Environmental Law Students’ Association, Student Legal Services’ Civil and Family Project, and aiding low-income individuals at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre. He then completed his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) at the University of Alberta and articled with a large national law firm before returning to Edmonton.

In his free time, Aydin enjoys running in the River Valley, cooking for his friends and family, and birdwatching with his partner in the mountains.
