Dunseith QC will be speaking at the Legal Education Society of Alberta’s seminar “Advising Private Family Business.” The seminar’s aim is to provide lawyers with practical advice on how to advise clients on matters related to damages, mitigation, and social media in the workplace. Robert will be presenting “The Estate Freeze: Why, When and How?” an overview of estate freezes as part of a well-considered private business succession plan. The presentation will include discussion of legal, tax and practical considerations. The pros and cons of freezing to a family trust will also be reviewed.
