In Gil's Own Words:
“Being a litigator is my dream job. I am comfortable with conflict, and it is rewarding to provide practical strategies aimed at resolving disputes. Fundamentally, all clients need the same things: straightforward advice and resolute advocacy. I see it my job to arm the client with the information and recommendations they need, and occupy the front line in the fight for their interests.”
Gil obtained his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) in 2019. In law school, Gil was awarded the Norman J Pollock, QC Prize in Advocacy, the Louise McKinney Scholarship, the Professor Trevor Anderson Prize in Jurisprudence, and was on the Dean’s List. After articling with the Alberta Courts, Gil was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020.
Gil was born and raised in Edmonton, where he now lives with his partner. In his spare time, Gil enjoys crosswords and playing board games. He is also part of a gold-medal trivia team.
